Civil Servants in Akwa Ibom State have taken matters into their own hands as they organised a spiritual intervention program in order to seek an end to their present predicament.
The affceted teachers in the state, numbering over 200 according to reports organised a serious fasting and prayer program over their long standing unpaid salaries predicament.
Investigations revealed that the said teachers got their appointment letters from State Secondary education board, SUBEB, in April 2015 but are yet to be posted to schools or paid salaries.
The teachers gathered at the Ibom Plaza, Uyo in Akwa Ibom at about 7:39 am to seek spiritual intervention.
