Never imagine that to
please a woman is an easy task
There is always no use
trying to find out what makes a woman tick, because women are funny creatures:
you never know where you are with them and they don’t often know where they are
with themselves.
To please them: first,
never be the reason for their tears. It’s not easy to make a woman always
happy, especially if she is that type who keeps asking and wanting something,
and never stops, but it’s absolutely easy to make them happy when you become
aware that the only thing you have to do is to love them – just love them and
never stop loving!
Sometimes you have to
forget everything else in the world and hold her in your arms
You have to always
give her reasons to believe that she’s the most important person in your world
Sometimes you just let
her control you – by control I mean, sometimes you let her make decisions and
you follow. However, let the scene not be that of weakness from your part, but
that of love.
Sometimes let the
whole day be about her. But I’ll advise that this act is done only on women who
add value to your life by staying with them – whether she’s aware of it or not.
Sometimes ask her out.
I don’t mean ‘take her out’ (Of course you should always give her a surprise
‘take out tour’ once in a while). You can take her and walk down the street
with her.
Learn the act of
saying lovely things to your woman – at least once a day, especially in the
morning, and never get tired!
And always show her a
sense of protection – protect and control her with absolute care and affection.
Loving a woman is like
loving a god; you never get tired; you just keep loving her more and more.
Have more stamina and strength with these exercises.
Be the man she wants you to be in bed
Do you know that, when having sex, you often
make use of muscles you would not normally use in your everyday life? To
have better and long lasting sex, prepare yourself with these
exercises. 1. Make Missionary Better: Missionary
is the go-to move for most people. You need strong arms and shoulders
to hold yourself up the entire time. Increase your upper-body strength
and shoulder stability with the bowing pushup.
Missionary
Get into a pushup position. Keeping your elbows close
to your ribs, lower your torso as if you were performing a pushup. You
should be hovering a few inches above the floor. Simultaneously squeeze
your glutes, drop your hips toward the floor, push your arms straight,
and lift your head and chest toward the ceiling. Pause, and then lift
your hips until you are in a pushup position again. That's 1 rep.
Perform 10 in a row. 2. More strength for The Cowgirl:
Just
because she's on top doesn't mean she should do all the work. You have
to provide a stable base for her, which requires serious core and hip
strength. To last as long as possible in the style, do the hollow-body
bridge hold.
The Cowgirl Position
Lie face-up with your legs straight and your arms at a
45-degree angle from your sides. Raise your hips off the floor by
pressing your heels and palms into the floor and squeezing your glutes.
Hold this position for 30 seconds. Add increments of 15 seconds each
workout until you can hold the move for 2 minutes. 3. Build your muscles for The Iron Chef: This
is one of the more challenging positions, since you still have to
support your partner's weight. You need extreme upper-body and
lower-body strength and stability to hold the move for longer than a few
seconds. During your workout, prepare for holding onto your honey with a
sandbag.
The Iron Chef
Grab a heavy sandbag and stand with your feet
shoulder-width apart. Hold it vertically in front of your torso, hugging
it to your chest. Slowly lower into a squat. Pause at the bottom, and
then return to standing. Perform 5 to 10 reps. Hold the last rep for 10
to 30 seconds at the top, squeezing the bag to your chest. If you don't
have access to a sandbag, you can modify this movement by cupping the
end of a dumbbell with both hands and holding it vertically in front of
your chest, your elbows pointing down. 4. Prepare for The Face-Off: The
Face Off allows for close contact between you and your partner, but a
lot of men report back pain from the strain of their partner sitting on
their laps. You can build the core and hip strength necessary to hold
the position with the V-sit.
Face-off
Sit on the floor. Lean back, and lift your legs off
the floor so they're straight and at a 45-degree angle. You body should
form a "V." Hold this position for 60 seconds. Make the position easier
by bending your knees. 5. Be the don for the Doggie Style: Make
every thrust count by improving the flexibility in your hips and
increasing the strength in your glutes with the band-resisted hip
thrust.
Doggie Style
Anchor a resistance band to a pole and wrap the other
side around your hips. Facing away from the anchor point, kneel down
and let your glutes rest on the back of your heels. This is the starting
position. Swiftly lift your hips and squeeze your glutes to assume a
tall-kneeling position. Pause, and then return to the starting position.
That's 1 rep. Perform 15 to 20 reps.
18+ You are what you eat. Your penis is too. These foods will go a long
way to make sure you are ready, able and willing to have great sex.
Eat this before sex to have even more fun.
It is important to maintain a
healthy diet for a host of reasons. One of which is that it would
provide you with a more satisfying sex life. Here are great foods that
will give you a stronger, more reliable erection.
1. Garlic:
Despite the fact that garlic makes your breath stink it’s still an
incredible strong sex food for men. It’s a potent testosterone booster
which of course is the root of your erections.
2. Chillies:
Chillies The easiest way to get a 'hard on' is by pushing more blood
into your penal blood vessels. Chillies are known to force blood into
important areas, such as the penis.
3. Coffee:
Too much of coffee is not exactly healthy. However, there is no denying
the fact that caffeine does give you energy kicks that can make you
last longer in bed.
4. Chocolate:
Dark unsweetened cocoa is one of the best aphrodisiac foods to have
before lovemaking. It arouses you from within and that is the most
important thing about getting a hard erection.
5. Cherries: The
anthocyanins present in cherries help to clean up arteries. This
ensures that your blood supply is not blocked from reaching your penis
in time. Besides, cherries are also aphrodisiac foods.
6. Oats:
Eating healthy is one of the thumb rules of being a great lover. So the
heart healthy oats fill your stomach, flushes out bad fats and also
helps you be more energetic in bed.
7. Bananas:
Bananas give you some much needed doses of potassium that helps to keep
your heart healthy and improves blood circulation. And with smooth
blood circulation comes a stronger erection.
8. Wine: Red wine can actually work like Viagra for you. It helps your blood vessels expand so that you can have a better erection.
9. Watermelon:
Watermelon has the capacity to relax or dilate your blood vessels so
that more blood can be pumped to your genitals. Thus, it is a great
fruit to have in bed.
10. Pork:
Pork is rich in Vitamin B1 which is required for quick nervous reflexes.
Your nervous system also plays a major role in giving you hard and
sustained erection.
'Does size matter?' Now that is a
question without a clear-cut answer. Guys will smaller members are
often worried about how they come across to a lady in bed. In fact, most
men already believe they are doomed. And while some women do admit that
this is cause for worry, others are finding ways to enjoy their less
endowed partners. So, how do you take advantage of this 'little'
situation? Here are are a few benefits to having a good time when your
man's penis is on the smaller side.
1. More mouth action:
Most women swear that men with smaller penis give the best head. So if
you’re the type of lady who loves nothing more than the smooth caress of
a loving, eager to please tongue between her legs, then who needs a big
penis? Who needs a penis at all?
2. Less jaw ache:
They do not call it a blow 'job' for nothing. It really is work. Giving
head to a smaller penis can be a breeze compared to the sometimes
overwhelming, long winded, jaw aching, sucking action that comes with
orally stimulating a larger penis. Experimenting with different
techniques and depths is also a lot easier to get your mouth around a
small willy, than trying to work your magic with an extra thick penis.
3. Pain free sex:
Most women with smaller vagina opening usually do not enjoy sex with
men with larger penises. Small penis sex is so much easier when you
compare it to thrusts that are too deep, odd angles, and coping with
feeling like you are being stretched or ripped. Not to mention dealing
with the acute discomfort of having a long penis head, extend way past
its welcome zone in your vagina, and bump it’s way against the back of
your cervix. It’s enough to drive you straight in to the arms, or rather
the pants of a man with a more modest penis.
4. Erection issues:
Having a small penis is definitely an advantage when it comes to
maintaining en erection. It seems to be common that well endowed men
tend to lose their erections, (especially in a condom,) more often than
men with a very small penis. In a nutshell, small penis sex is a lot
less disappointing when you don't have to hear the complaints and the
whines of a guy who apparently can’t maintain his erection.
5. Overcompensating:
It might sound selfish but men with a smaller penises generally just
want to wow you in the bedroom. So if that means you have no choice but
to lay back, while he lovingly goes that extra mile, or you are forced
to be romanced, caressed, and loved over and over again… well then so be
it. Who says there’s anything wrong with over compensating in one area
to make up for the shortcomings in another?
A group suspected to be thugs on Tuesday demolished a building housing the Excellent Flow of Christ Church in Benin, Edo State.
DAILY
POST gathered that the thugs who claimed to be working for the Edo
State Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, came to the church at
about 9:00am in a Hilux van and Mistibushi bus.
According to the
pastor of the church, one Victor Chukwu, trouble started one week after
he moved in and one of his neighbors, Daniel Eboigbe, said the church
activities were disturbing him.
The
Pastor, who noted that a petition was sent to the Ministry of Housing
and Urban Development and a notice to remove the church was served on
him on November 16, also alleged that Eboigbe had threatened to ensure
they are removed from the area.
Victor said, “We paid the owner on
a yearly basis. Mr. Eboigbe took us to court and did not wait for the
court ruling before sending thugs to destroy the church.
“He came
and told us the church was disturbing and causing nuisance in the area
and the thugs started using hammer to destroy the building,” he added.
The
state Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Frank Evbuomwan,
commenting on the incident, said the building was an illegal structure
and does not have a building permit.

Pensioners confirms. details to follow
THE latest report from
the United Nations’ anti-HIV agency, UNAIDS, which was released on July
14th at the Third International Conference on Financing for
Development, in Addis Ababa, contains much good news. The headline
figures, of the number of AIDS-related deaths and new infections a year,
have fallen since 2005 by 41% and 24% respectively. They now stand at
1.2m and 2m.
The rate of new infections had been falling since the late 1990s,
as various anti-transmission measures, especially the use of condoms,
were pushed heavily. But the drop in the death rate is the consequence
of a third number, which is that 15m of the 37m people reckoned to be
infected are now receiving drug treatment. This treatment, known as
antiretroviral therapy, or ARV, not only keeps them alive, it also
greatly reduces the risk of their infecting others. ARV’s introduction
in poor countries began in earnest in 2003, with the intention of
getting 3m people on the drugs by 2005. It is no coincidence that this
period is when the death rate peaked.
Some places have done much better than these average numbers.
Ethiopia, the meeting’s host, has brought the death rate down by 71%
from its peak in 2005. South Africa has reduced it by 58% in the past
five years alone.
Equally important, this progress looks likely to continue. The $22
billion reckoned necessary to keep the show on the road this year will
probably be raised successfully. Some will come from international
donors. The Global Fund—an international not-for-profit organisation
thath acts as a conduit for rich-country money intended to combat AIDS,
tuberculosis and malaria—plans, for instance, to chip in $4 billion.
Billions more will come from direct country-to-country donations. These
days, though, all but the poorest places pay much of the bill
themselves. South Africa, for example, picks up the tab for almost all
of the 3.1m of its citizens who are on ARV. Altogether, 57% of the $22
billion will come from the countries where the money is spent.
An annual toll of 1.2m is still vastly too high, of course. And AIDS
activists are ever-wary of a slackening of effort. But if progress
continues at the current rate, the report suggests, the epidemic could
be over by 2030.
NAN
The trial of Nnamdi Kanu, Director of Radio Biafra, suffered a setback
on Tuesday due to the absence of Magistrate Shuaibu Usman of the Wuse
Zone 2 Senior Magistrates’ Court, Abuja.

Kanu
is standing trial on a three-count of criminal conspiracy, intimidation
and belonging to unlawful society, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that, the case which had earlier been fixed for ruling did not hold due to the absence of the magistrate in court.
No reason was given by the court on why the magistrate did not sit.
Speaking to newsmen at the court
premises, the defendant’s lawyer, Mr. Vincent Obetta said all efforts to
reach the magistrate on phone were not successful.
Obetta appealed to the prosecution, the
Department of State Service, to obey the subsisting order of the court
to transfer his client to prison custody to enable him have access to
him.
He said, “DSS has refused to obey the court order to transfer my client to prison custody.
“I call on the trial judge to order the DSS to transfer my client to prison custody.
“The DSS has flouted the court order which granted my client bail since October 19.”
Students
of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN, Monday urged the minister of
education, Malam Adamu Adamu to intervene in the compulsory laptop fee
slammed on them by the University authority.
New students of the
University, who spoke to DAILY POST in separate interviews, described
the N75,000 compulsory laptop levy as arbitrary.
It was gathered
that the University administration had recently introduced a mandatory
policy, wherein all the students are being forced to own a laptop.
One
of the new students described the policy as inhuman, noting that “it is
so sad that they are making education so difficult for the poor.
“With this policy, we would now paying close to N200,000 in a federal university per session. This is wickedness.
“As
I speak to you, I’m helpless because my parents don’t have that kind of
money. It is wrong for anyone to make computer ownership compulsory. It
should be a matter of choice. The management should not use us to make
money”.
Also speaking, another student called on the education minister to call the Vice Chancellor to order.
“We are begging the Minister to urgently intervene because they are turning this University to a market place.
“If
the Vice Chancellor is interested in doing laptop business, he should
find a market for it, not placing such burden on poor students.
“Some
of our parents are leaving on N18,000 minimum wage; now they want them
to pay N200,000 as school fees for one session. This is wickedness of
the highest order. This computer should be by choice”, he stated.
A
certain Nigerian preacher of the Celestial Church of Christ, one
Gabriel Omogbo, has been arrested in the United States for allegedly
committing crimes across hotels.
According to WJLA-TV, channel 7,
an ABC-affiliated television station in Washington, D.C., the
33-year-old Omogbo of Hyattsville, Maryland, had been in the habit of
preaching the word of God on Sunday mornings and allegedly spending his
nights hunting prostitutes at hotels.
An alleged profile on
Facebook believed to be his, claims he preaches at the Celestial Church
of Christ in Riverdale, New York City and he is a former student at
Bowie State University. He also works as a security guard and currently
lives at home with his parents.
According
to reports on WJLA, Omogbo uses Backpage.com website to source for
female escorts who he arranges to meet up with and then dupe them after
sexual activities.
The first two attacks, reports claim, happened
at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Rockville and on both occasions, he is
accused of raping and stealing from two women he had met online.
However,
the third attack took place at the Radison Hotel in Rockville, where he
is accused of threatening a woman with a knife. He had ordered the
woman to take off her clothes before reportedly telling her ‘You are
going to die today.’
He allegedly beat her up, cutting her arms
and legs and eventually stole her iPad, cell phone and $300. The woman
however survived and reported to the police. She was said to have
explained how he offered her a glass of water before fleeing the hotel
room.
Reports
further revealed Omogbo was arrested after police traced CCTV footage
from the hotels as well as collecting DNA evidence from each of the
rooms.
“CCTV footage showed a man matching Omogbo’s description
wearing blue jeans and brown loafers entering and leaving the hotels at
the time of the attacks.
“Omogbo is now being held at Montgomery County Correction Facility on a no bond status,” WJLA reports.
He
will next appear in court on January 8, reports affirm, adding that he
is charged with attempted first degree murder, armed robbery, first
degree assault and reckless endangerment.
An
estimated 2.9 million people living with HIV/AIDS out of 3.4 million
Nigerians diagnosed last year are not receiving treatment needed to
suppress the infection. Those affected, most of who are currently living
in hiding, are not only at risk of death from HIV related illnesses,
but are also infecting new people, causing a surge of the disease.
Nigerian HIV
experts revealed this at a scientific symposium to mark this year's
World AIDS Day, organised by the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research,
NIMR, in collaboration with Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, Lagos
branch.
In her submission,
representative of the Population Council Abuja, Dr. Sylvia Adebajo noted
that only 500,000 people are currently on treatment, while the 2.9
million largely men, serve as reservoir for the spread of HIV.
"Men do not go to
hospital as much as women so they are the most difficult to reach. Those
at higher risks include; women, homosexuals, men who engage with drugs
and those who have sex with female sex workers."
Adebajo said the
attitude of testing people and letting them go without follow up needs
to be stopped, and more people, particularly men needs to be reached
with treatment.
Director-General of
NIMR, Prof Innocent Ujah regretted that despite that effective
available for the diagnosis and clinical management, the AIDS epidemic
still claims an estimated two million lives each year, of which about
270, 000 are children.
"The multi - year
theme since 2012 has been "getting to zero with the three main
sub-themes of zero new infections, zero deaths from AIDs - related
illnesses and zero discrimination.
Ujah who lauded the
UNAIDS 90 - 90 -90 initiative said it was designed to have 90 percent
of all people diagnosed with HIV infection receive sustained ARV therapy
and 90- percent of all people receiving ARV will have viral
suppression.
"With 90 percent of
those on treatment having viral suppression, there will be a drastic
break of transmission of new infection and end the HIV/AIDS pandemic by
2030."
He said NIMR will
be conducting an outreach in Alimosho Local Government area of Lagos
state to increase awareness on HIV/AIDS as well as enhance HIV
counselling and testing.
Also in her
presentation, on how to prevent new infection, Dr. Oladipo Fisher, from
Lagos State AIDS Control Agency, LASACA, said early initiation of HIV
positive people into antiretroviral drugs will decrease rate of new
infection, as well as reduce HIV-related illnesses and deaths.
In the same vein,
Consultant Haematologist at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH,
Prof. Sulaimon Akanmu, noted that people who test positive to HIV can
possibly eliminate the virus if they commence treatment immediately they
are diagnosed. "This will help bring their viral load to an
undetectable level, where they will likely not infect other people, and
is in line with the World Health Organization, WHO's new treatment
guideline for HIV/AIDS."
The
operatives of Department of State Service (DSS) Tuesday morning picked
the immediate National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (Rtd) to
their office in Abuja.
Sources say the DSS operatives ordered the
former NSA out of his Abuja residence without any form of force to the
DSS headquarters in the Asokoro District of Abuja.
Dasuki has been under house arrest for a month.
The
Federal High Court had granted permission to him to travel twice but
the federal government refused to allow him leave the country.
Some officials who worked undered him as well as ex-Minister of Finance, Yuguda have also been arrested by the DSS.
Dasuki
denied ever receiving any formal or informal invitation to appear
before an Investigative Panel on the Procurement of hardware and
ammunition in the armed forces.
While responding to a statement
from the Presidency, he said he had never been invited formally or
informally to appear before the panel.
“For
the record I am proud to serve my nation with the best of intention and
ensuring the recovery of more than 22 local government councils from
Boko Haram terrorists.
“Because of the pride on how we tackled
terrorism and defeated Boko Haram terrorists through our gallant troops
and partners in the twilight of the previous administration, that is the
reason I have insisted on open and public trial of my stewardship
rather than secret trial in the court as being canvassed by my
prosecutors.
“I wish Nigerians will go back and reflect on what we
did with even little or no supports from some countries, we performed
miracles before the emergence of this administration.
“Even though
the committee was to investigate procurement from 2007 to 2015, only my
name is always being mentioned even when some of the issues were before
I came into the government.
“I leave Nigerians to judge”
A
Pharmacist at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Lanre
Alege has stated that regular sex and exercise is good for the body.
He said such lifestyle helps to minimise the risk of Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH).
Alege
made the call in a lecture entitled: “Minimising the Risk of BPH” at
the monthly Keep Fit Exercise for members of staff of the UITH held at
the Kwara Stadium.
According
to him, the lifestyle changes include; nutrition, limitation of alcohol
intake, exercise, sitting habit, dressing mode and regular sexual
intercourse.
He described Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH), as a non cancerous growth of the prostate gland.
Alege
explained that studies in some developed countries had shown that 50
per cent of men in their 60s and about 80 per cent of those in their 80s
suffered from Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH).
“The prostate
gland is a secretary gland in the male reproductive organ which is a
disease common in men aged 50 and above,” he stated.
“Frequent
urination, especially at night, reduces or weakens the flow of urine,
difficulty or hesitation in starting urine or holding urine or feeling
of incomplete emptying of the bladder after urination,” he said.
“Consumption
of red meat everyday triples the chances for prostate disease. Milk
intake everyday also doubles the risk while not taking fruits and
vegetables multiply the risk.
“Men should avoid tight under wear,
as it impacts on circulation around the groin and heat up a bit. Regular
sex is good for the prostate,” he said.

10. Seven pupils of Government Girls’
Secondary School, Jogana in Gezawa Local Government Area of Kano State,
have been killed after one of the school hostels went up in flames on
Sunday evening. Report says 25 others sustained varying degrees of
injuries in the incident.
DESPITE recent advances in the
containment and treatment of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired
Immune Deficiency Syndrome around the world, Nigeria appears to be
losing the battle against the dreaded disease. Rather than witness a
decline, as is the case in other parts of the world, new cases of
infection have been on the rise, thus making a mess of the global
prospects of a total eradication of the disease, which is actually
eradicable, even if not yet curable.
The
United Nations, at its 70th General Assembly in New York this year, set
a 2030 target to end the spread of the disease. Recent figures released
by the Nigerian authorities, however, paint a gloomy picture, which, if
not addressed urgently, could become a recipe for disaster. While the
National Agency for the Control of AIDS states that Nigeria has the
highest number of children born with HIV/AIDS, the National AIDS/STIs
Control Programme of the Federal Ministry of Health released statistics
showing that 115,688 Nigerians tested positive for the virus in the
first half of this year.
Added to this dire situation is a
warning from the Federal Government that donor countries, including the
United States, might withdraw their financial support for the treatment
programme in Nigeria by next year. Nothing could be more dreadful for a
country that pays only lip service to health care delivery, where the
rich and those who can afford it rush abroad for medical attention even
for ailments as minor as a headache or a sprained ankle.
Details of the ministry’s report
showed that the 115,888 unfortunate Nigerians were part of a
counselling and testing programme that involved 2,871,025 people around
the country. This should send the alarm bells ringing for the
authorities. If a testing programme involving just 2,871,025 people
could produce 115,888 new positive cases, what happens if the scope had
been much wider? Besides, this is a country with a population estimated
at over 170 million. What is the implication for a country whose
statistics are not usually reliable?
This development makes mincemeat
of the often peddled claim that there are about 3.5 million Nigerians
living with HIV/AIDS, second in prevalence rate only to South Africa in
the world. The view that the figure could be grossly understated is also
supported by the fact that the country has the highest number of
children born with the virus, which is also another embarrassment in
itself, given that transmission from mother to child is easily
preventable.
However, the failure of the
mother-to-child transmission programme is not a recent development as it
has been consistently so for some years now. A 2013 United Nations
report, for instance, did not mince words in saying so. “Nigeria has the
largest number of children acquiring HIV infection, nearly 60,000 in
2012 – a number that has remained unchanged since 2009,” the report
said. An official of the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention,
Margaret Lampe, had also said last year that the number of people living
with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria had increased by almost 500,000 in three
years, just as the number of deaths related to the virus claimed 217,148
lives within the same period.
Although HIV, as the name
implies, is a virus that attacks the human immune system, it does not
kill. It however compromises the ability of a person to fight off
diseases. By the time the attack on the immune system progresses to the
stage of AIDS, the patient becomes a victim of opportunistic diseases
that ordinarily could have been kept at bay. This natural progression
is, however, preventable by administering the anti-retroviral therapy,
which keeps down the viral load and allows a person living with the
virus to live a normal life.
As usual, the failure to make
progress in the areas of mother-to-child transmission and tangible
reduction in the number of new infections is traceable to the absence of
sufficient government support. For instance, of the estimated 3.5
million people living with HIV/AIDS, only 700,000 have access to ART,
according to Abdulrahman Momodu, the Chairman, the Board of Trustees,
Network of People Living With HIV/AIDS. This has been made possible
mainly by contributions of donor countries and agencies. Why has the
government not filled the gap of 2.8 million that is not covered by the
foreign sponsorship?
This is the problem that will be
encountered when this sponsorship is lost next year. But it should not
be the case; government at all levels owes it a duty to step up
involvement in this serious public health issue. Apart from subsidising
the cost of medication for those who cannot afford it, there is also the
need to raise the level of awareness among Nigerians, especially those
in the sexually active age bracket, who are also the most vulnerable.
Access to treatment plays a dual role of not only ensuring that those
infected with the virus do not come down with AIDS, it also reduces the
rate of transmission.
For the sexually active, the
message should be that of practising safe sex – avoidance of multiple
sex partners and unprotected sex. Sharing of sharp objects such as
hypodermic syringes, blade and barbing clippers should also be avoided.
Enlightenment campaign over the years has nosedived, but it is the most
potent weapon against HIV/AIDS. People should also endeavour to undergo
tests to know their status; it goes a long way in determining what step
to take next.
Her Majesty the Queen of England,
Elizabeth Alexandra; President Muhammadu Buhari; Vice President, Prof.
Yemi Osinbajo (SAN); and governors from at least 20 states, ministers
and other dignitaries are expected to attend the coronation of the new
Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II.
The Chairman, Media Committee of the
coronation, Mr. Biyi Odunlade, said this at a press conference that
started a series of activities lined up for the coronation scheduled to
hold on December 7.
Odunlade, however, explained that the
queen might be represented at the ceremony. He added that guests from
many nations of the world had been invited for the ceremony.
The Ooni also said he was ready to
fast-track the development of Ife with a series of policies, which he
said, would make the Yoruba people proud anywhere they found themselves.
The monarch, who was represented at the
press conference by his elder brother, Prince Adegboyega Ogunwusi, said
he would do everything possible to address the problem of youth
unemployment in the town.
Ogunwusi, who donated 50 transformers to
some communities in Ife before he emerged as the new Ooni, said he
would donate additional 50 transformers within the next 30 days to boost
electricity supply in the ancient town.
He noted that this gesture would make
small scale businesses in the town to thrive because power problem would
have been reduced.
He said, “Let me acquaint you with what I
have done in less than 70 days. I have given out over 20 electricity
transformers worth about N250m.
“I donated 50 transformers when I was a
prince. I will buy another 50 transformers within the next 30 days to
further enhance electricity distribution. With this, small scale
businesses of welders, tailors and others will naturally witness
improvement.
“Providentially, I know the core
investor and the Chairman, Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, Mr.
Tunde Ayeni, personally and very well. I have engaged him and his team
to make this a reality and work has commenced in earnest. We will
witness this transformation by the very special grace of God.”
“To revamp the stadium, I have already
opened discussion with the Osun State Government on this. I will set up a
football academy and we will have 16 clubs in Ife.”
The new monarch also promised to establish a football academy.
While the press conference was going on, the new Ooni and other guests were at an inter-religious service held at Enuwa Square.
One of the religious leaders, who spoke
at the service, Apostle Joshua Fagbule, urged the people of Ife to rally
round Ogunwusi in order for him to bring about meaningful development
to the town.
In his acceptance speech, Madu asked all Igbo groups agitating for the Biafra nation to come together and close ranks.
Ralph Uwazuruike-Leader of the Movement for Actualisation Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB).
The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has expelled their leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike.
Subsequently, the national officers and regional administrators have elected Mr. Uchenna Madu emerged the new leader of MASSOB.
According to New Telegraph Newspapers, the group accused Uwazuruike of fraud and corrupt enrichment.
In his acceptance speech, Madu asked all Igbo groups agitating for the Biafra nation to come together and close ranks.
The Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha recently blasted Chief Ralph Uwazuruike for calling him a traitor.
Before his expulsion, Uwazuruike, claimed that the group had the backing of the United Nations.
Observers
predicted Uwazuruike’s expulsion was coming, because of the war of
words between the factional leaders of Movement for the Actualisation of
the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB).
The rules of
engagement are not only the principles of being engaged to a partner, but also
the art of attracting a right partner. Getting a man to engage you and
eventually propose, there are things, as a lady, you should do and things you
shouldn’t. And speaking of that, pretence is not an option because the long
term result of that is always like wishing to bury yourself alive. This,
however, does not mean that a lady should spend her life planning on how to get
a man propose. It is only necessary when situation calls for it.
This article is
basically for women, and the reason is that a man, usually, is the one that
makes the move for an engagement. And given that fact, he moves by choice. Now
let us discuss some of the rules of engagement:
I give this first
point for people who might get religious. In the Bible, Naomi instructs Ruth to
wash herself and put on her best clothes and then to go out and meet with Boaz.
As a lady, dressing up is an art of selling yourself. This does not apply to
dressing to seduce or going out half-naked (I’m sure you know what I mean).
Some dressing only attracts playboys and womanizers. In fact, ladies should be
aware that seduction cannot get a serious man interested in you, it only makes
him want you for the moment, and after that you mean nothing to him anymore –
well, except for men without established principles, which means, if you can
seduce such a man, another girl can seduce him too. This takes us to the next
point:
Being natural – think
of the reason some – or many – superstars, rich guys, and celebrities often end
up with a not-so-pretty-girl. This is because they have seen a lot of ladies
who are not real; who throw themselves at them given any little opportunity.
Most ladies are not always real when they meet a rich or famous dude. When they
give you their cards to call, don’t call. Rather have them call you. Never
forget that men are hunters. They have seen a lot of animals. So when they see
that real person, out of the so many unreal they have seen, they desire her
immediately. They don’t care whether she’s pretty or not. After all, they’ve
seen, and probably slept with a lot of pretty ladies. Be natural. Be real.
Don’t say you only eat fried rice and ‘Sharwama’ whereas you actually drink garri at home. Never pretend to be what
you are not. It will also interest you to know that most men who turn out to
lose interest in their women eventually learn that she’s not whom he assumed
her to be. This takes us to pretence:
Never, as a lady, pretend in a bid to getting a man interested in you.
Yes, you might get him interested but you can’t keep him interested. What women
don’t know is that men know when they are fake. A man always knows when a lady
is lying – he either ignores it or uses it against her. Trust me, men have an
idea of whom and what you are the moment they meet you. Make no mistake in
thinking that women are some kind of voluminous book that cannot be exhausted.
A man who has seen a lot of them always turns to the right page of each woman
he meets. That’s why, if you have ever wondered, he ends up picking another
girl after he has spent time with the other. Though, some ungrateful men can be
blamed on this, but note that men usually don’t walk away if there is no reason
to.
