Lol! Man swallows blade and nail to win bet of $900, gets hospital bill of $1500

A man in China found himself in an hospital after he overheard two people making a bet about swallowing a nail and metal blade and then decided to give it a try so he can pay his rent.
The man identified as Xiao Gong approached the men and agreed to swallow a saw blade and a five-inch screw nail in exchange for $900.

Gong swallowed the five-inch nail for 2,000 Yuan ($300) and a saw blade for 4,000 Yuan ($600).
Soon after winning his bet, Gong was admitted in an hospital with severe injuries life-threatening injuries to his stomach.
Doctors after looking at an xray of Gong’s stomach, were surprised by its contents. The nail and blade where both embedded in different parts of his stomach.

Doctors were however able to remove the nail after a two-hour surgery but they said the damage to the lining of his stomach puts him at risk of an infection and he will require further treatment.
Gong who almost died over the bet was given a hospital bill of over 10,000 yuan ($1,500).
