Friday Transfer News: Joe Hart Begs Reds, United told to splash the cash

Man City goalkeeper Joe Hart is willing to take a pay cut in order to join Liverpool while Man United are linked with a new defender, according the Friday’s papers.
England No.1 Joe Hart is reportedly open to lowering his salary so he can end his Man City exile and join Premier League rivals Liverpool, according to The Sun.
Following the arrival of Claudio Bravo from Barcelona, Hart is set to become Pep Guardiola’s third-choice option at the Etihad. A demotion that puts his long-term England future under serious threat.
Hart admitted after the Champions League qualifier against Steaua Bucharest that there is a ‘situation’ to resolve, and taking a pay cut is an option if it means regular first-team football.
There does not appear to a long queue of clubs interested in taking the 29-year-old, with Everton the latest team to confirm that they have no interest in signing him.
Hart has less than a week to resolve his future, but his apparent willingness to negotiate his salary could lead to a last-ditch transfer.

Manchester United are weighing up whether to make one, final major signing before the transfer window slams shut, with Monaco telling the Red Devils it will cost £25m to land full-back Fabinho.
Dubbed the ‘new Dani Alves’ by the French media, L’Equipe believe that Jose Mourinho has been tracking the Brazilian all summer and still caught in two minds whether to meet the hefty asking price.
After reaching the Champions League group stages Monaco are under no pressure to sell their full-back, who scored eight goals in all competitions last season. The 22-year-old is said to be ‘relaxed’ about his future and is not particularly looking to leave the Ligue 1 club, so United will have to dig deep if they want to sign him.

Bravo signs for Manchester City

Barcelona goalkeeper moves to Etihad Stadium on a four-year deal

Manchester City have announced the signing of Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.
The 33-year-old has agreed a four-year deal to move to the Etihad Stadium as Pep Guardiola's ninth recruit of the transfer window.
Having bolstered their midfield and attacking options with the acquisitions of Ilkay Gundogan, Nolito, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Aaron Mooy, Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus and Marlos Moreno, Bravo joins John Stones as part of Man City's rearguard for 2016/17.
“I’m very proud to be joining Manchester City," he said in an interview with mancity.com. "I know the Club is building something very special and I hope I can be part of many successes in the coming years."

Chile's most-capped international with 106 appearances to his name, ahead of Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez (101), Bravo moves to the Premier League after two seasons with Guardiola's former club Barcelona.
During his time at Barcelona he won back-to-back La Liga and Copa del Rey titles, as well as winning the UEFA Champions League.
This summer he starred as his country retained the Copa America, saving a penalty in a shootout victory over Argentina in the final.
He will be hoping to feature for the first time in a City shirt on Sunday when West Ham United visit the Etihad Stadium.

Claudio Bravo expected in Manchester on Thursday to complete City move

Sky Sports has reported that FCBarcelona's Claudio Bravo is expected in Manchester as early as Thursday to finalise his move to Pep Guardiola's City.
Barcelona have agreed a deal with Ajax to sign Jasper Cillessen, according to Sky sources, paving the way for Chile international goalkeeper Bravo to swap the Nou Camp for the Etihad and trigger Joe Hart's exit from City.

Barcelona announced on Saturday that an agreement was in place with City to sell Bravo, who has been their first choice since he joined from Real Sociedad in 2014, with a medical and the finalisation of personal terms yet to come.
