MASSOB: Group expels Uwazuruike


In his acceptance speech, Madu asked all Igbo groups agitating for the Biafra nation to come together and close ranks.

The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has expelled their leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike.
Subsequently, the national officers and regional administrators have elected Mr. Uchenna Madu emerged the new leader of MASSOB.
According to New Telegraph Newspapers, the group accused Uwazuruike of fraud and corrupt enrichment.
In his acceptance speech, Madu asked all Igbo groups agitating for the Biafra nation to come together and close ranks.
The Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha recently blasted Chief Ralph Uwazuruike for calling him a traitor.
Before his expulsion, Uwazuruike, claimed that the group had the backing of the United Nations.
Observers predicted Uwazuruike’s expulsion was coming, because of the war of words between the factional leaders of Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB).
