Nollywood actress, Fathia Balogun spoke about domestic violence in an interview and said people who do so deserve to die.
She also spoke on her
new chieftaincy title in Nigeria.
Williams Faithia Balogun is a Delta State born actress, film-maker, producer and director. She recently won the Lead Actress in a film at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards, (NEA) held in New York on September 4.
In a recent interview with Pulse, she gave her take on domestic violence in relationships. She said: “Anybody that does that should be killed, no judgement. I don’t think it’s a good thing. We should try and preach and talk to them, maybe they have mental problem.” This yea, she was given a chieftaincy title in Nigeria. A chieftaincy ist he rank, dignity, office, or rule of a chieftain. On her new title, she said: “Iya Adinni Atesise is when you are very religious person. I don’t have to pretend to cover my head and I get somewhere and then take it off. If u dress anyhow of do anyhow in movies doesn’t mean I don’t know how to relate with my God.”
